area with my mom, Malikah, and my new brother Levi, but I love to visit Virginia Beach and pop into the clinic…I love that this place is just for cats. Hi! I’m Zoey! I am the Virtual Clinic Cat… I live in the Washington D.C. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, spending time with Zoey & Levi and trying new restaurants. The newest addition to my home is "Levi" a young kitten who loves to play and watch television. I currently live in the Washington DC area and am the proud mother of "Zoey" who is a very energetic two-year old Tortoiseshell and also the virtual clinic cat. I also spent many years in the Virginia Beach area where I earned degrees in Biology and Public Health at Old Dominion University and Eastern Virginia Medical School. I am excited to join the Lighthouse Veterinary Care for Cats in its mission to provide your furry friends with superb care! I was born in New Jersey and raised in Delaware. I am the part-time virtual office assistant. My favorite part of my job is being able to help cats get the care they need, and helping clients keep their fur babies healthy and happy! I also have "Kit", a 2 year old Bearded Dragon who loves to sleep anywhere regardless of the time of day. As for pets, I have two rabbits - "Cali", a 5 year old Mini Lop who is very feisty but loving and "Ebony", a 6 year old Flemish Giant mix who loves to eat just about everything. I love to read, hike, travel, explore foods at new restaurants and volunteer. I continued to volunteer there and at the local humane society while working to achieve my silver award in Girl Scouts. I first started in middle school at a nearby farm. I have loved animals since I was young, and as soon as I was old enough to be able to work with animals, I started volunteering. ![]() I'm so excited to get to know you and your fur babies! ![]() My hobbies include going to theme parks, the beach, mountains, and sports events with my family. My favorite part of the job is seeing the pets heal from sickness or injury. ![]() I attempted veterinary technician school years ago and I'm hoping to restart again in the near future. I told myself that I never wanted them to go hungry. I've always wanted to help animals since I was little, it sparked from feeding the neighborhood cats. My husband is proudly serving our country with the Navy and we have a handsome, energetic 3 year old! I also have an 8 year old Tuxedo cat named Sushi who gives us a lot of joy! I've been a veterinary assistant for 15 years and am excited to be here at Lighthouse Veterinary Care for Cats! I was born and raised in Norfolk and currently live in Chesapeake.
